My wife and I do annual weekends to Vegas to play in Hold-em tournaments and we also do it in Colorado, so we have a good sense of what a well run poker room and tournament looks and feels like (but are still amateurs). (He is 18 and likes to play Texas Hold-em at home with his high school buddies - no internet judgements on our parenting please).
The purpose in addition to having fun, was to give him a taste of being a grown up in a safe environment since he was going to be about of the house in 2 months. We planned a trip to Aruba to celebrate my son’s high school graduation and going to college and wanted a place where he could drink and gamble legally. This is a review for only the Poker Room at the Hilton, we did not stay there.
